Book a one hour session when you will fly four owls to your gloved hand

for an interactive educational and training experience.

3.   Owl & Hawk Extravaganza

An amazing experience over a morning flying seven owls and hawks in the barn and outside

in the flying field.

A cream tea or cake is part of this experience making it into a complete morning outing

You will receive a short video of your experience as the bird flies and lands on your gloved hand.

Notes to help you choose your ideal experience:

We offer  bird of prey experiences to suit everyone's budget and availability of birds.  We have provided guidance below for different ages of child, however we cannot be responsible if a child or adult is unable accept a bird flying to their gloved hand.  Rod has a great deal of experience helping everyone through challenging times whilst flying the birds, but a few times has had to concede it was not possible.

If children are in your group please note the following guidelines:

Smaller owls Entry and One Hour Experiences suitable for 5yrs+ ;   Extravaganza  with larger owls and hawks for 8yrs+;

All sessions must be pre-booked  - please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes prior to your booked time as others might still be flying or leaving after the previous session.  There will be time to look around the Centre and Wildlife Garden where the Owls are housed before or after your flying, and you can also meet the horses at this time. There will be plenty of time for photographs during your session, but not during the flying as the bird needs to be kept focussed until it has finished its flying session.

The toilets are situated in the car park, and Reception is in the front entrance to the House 50m along the lane - there is no cafe on site, but we recommend Kitnors in Bossington, Periwinkle Cottage in Selworthy, or Horner Tea Gardens.
